Introducing The Crate Kitchen
We’re getting ready to embark on a new chapter – the birth of the Crate Kitchen. Our journey so far has featured some amazing pop-ups,
We had fantastic feedback from our Christmas markets from traders and customers alike. With so many talented traders and thriving small local businesses, we want to make it easy for you to shop local by holding monthly trade markets.
On the last Sunday of each month, The Crate will host a trade market where we will welcome an array of products giving you a unique shopping experience and supporting local traders.
During the Summer months, our vision is to extend this to produce and street food markets. We’d love to bring a seafood festival to Bosham featuring high-quality, sustainable seafood from local shores!
We are now fully licensed and excited to soon be open for chilled evening drinks. We’ll be welcoming a new crate onto the site in the coming weeks, which will become the new bar. Offering wine, craft beers, and a relaxed vibe. During the winter months, we’ll be opening on Wednesday evenings for midweek drinks, plus Friday and Saturday evenings until 10pm.
When the warmer weather arrives we plan to introduce Summer opening hours and a sun terrace where we can host local live music and open-mic nights.
Our collaboration with Bullyard Pizza will become a more permanent arrangement so that we can offer food in the evenings while the bar is open. As well as their delicious wood-fired pizzas we will be working with them to curate some additional options to suit The Crate vibe.
As part of our design and development vision, we will be introducing a third crate onto the site – the ‘snug’. The plan for the snug is to create a dedicated co-working space where local businesses and freelancers can hire a desk and benefit from the buzz of working in the Crate space (as well as coffee and snacks on tap!).
Having held a couple of extremely successful private events last year we are pleased to offer the Crate Cafe to hire for private occasions, corporate events, and weddings. With a licensed bar and numerous delicious catering options, we hope that this will be a valuable addition to the local community.
