You might have noticed that The Crate Bosham has been a touch quieter this year. We promise it wasn’t our intention to tease you with our vibrant events and then take the fun away. The truth is, we’ve been channeling our energy into getting our new venture, The Crate Trafalgar, off the ground while also navigating some turbulent waters with the council. A handful of hurdles, thrown in our path by a few individuals, threatened The Crate Bosham’s existence. But we stood firm, fuelled by our passion for this village and our commitment to bringing you a valuable and vibrant community space.
We’re thrilled to share with you that our perseverance has paid off! Our final planning application has been approved, ensuring that The Crate Bosham will continue to be a part of your daily lives.
Part of our journey this year involved making some changes to the cafe’s structure and exterior appearance. If you’ve been by recently, you might have spotted a shiny new container at the front of the cafe. This is just the beginning of a series of transformations aimed at harmoniously blending in with the surrounding industrial units. We’re doing our best to minimise any disruptions this may cause, and we’re excited for you to see the final result.
Looking ahead to 2024, we’re excited for what’s to come. We’re refocusing our efforts on delivering unparalleled value to the Bosham and Portchester communities. Expect a year brimming with events, surprises, and those unique Crate experiences you love. Stay tuned to our social media channels and the new noticeboard in the cafe for the latest news and events.
